The project tackles one of the most ambitious challenges facing the Italian university system: building an integrated digital ecosystem that supports all the crucial functions of teaching. The goal is to effectively and sustainably connect [1] all Italian universities through functional, modular and scalable platforms.

Through a preliminary phase, the project identified the “white” and “grey” areas of management services, developing a new model based on user experience [2] (UX), interconnection between platforms and the simplification of complex processes. The centrality of design is reflected in the definition of personas representative of the university ecosystem and in the design of a consistent, accessible and recognisable interface.

The project unfolds over a three-year plan that includes the development of new software modules, the redefinition of the system's visual language, support for brand identity and the development of a digital strategy for the entire university system. Each phase was guided by a multidisciplinary and collaborative methodology.

The result is a dynamic management system, custom-built for the needs of universities and ready to compete with major global models in terms of innovation.
