The project transforms one of Milan's strategic hubs into a new urban space that combines sustainability, mobility and culture. At the heart of the intervention is a large 380-metre canopy that extends over the railway tracks and streets, becoming a green hydroponic river. This ecological corridor not only creates a physical and visual link between Cadorna Station and the Triennale, but also gives the community new green and urban spaces [1].

The infrastructure is, in fact, not just an ecological bridge, but also a solution to the physical divide between the areas north and south of the track level. The design includes commercial areas, spaces for OOH advertising and exhibition spaces, transforming the station from a place of transit into a hub for cultural and social experiences.

Through this project, Milan establishes itself as a resilient and sustainable city, capable of integrating its historical heritage with contemporary needs for mobility, wellbeing and innovation. The combination of natural, artistic and digital elements gives rise to a new urban landmark [2], redefining the relationship between infrastructure and community.
